Share Africa Climate Change Fiction Award 2022 Winners

Finally, the Share Africa Climate Change Fiction Award 2022 judges have ended their challenging work. We are thrilled to announce the shortlist and winning stories as follows:
 
First Place: “And then the humans came” by Miranda Bonolo Joubert (Botswana)
Second Place: “River of Death” by Thuto Vanessa Seabe (Botswana)
Third Place: “The Hummingbird” by Alex N. Nderitu (Kenya)
 
Sponsored by Poseidon, the winners will receive USD500, USD300, and USD100 respectively. 
 
These winning entries, alongside two others below that made the shortlist, will soon be published by the Kalahari Review, so be on the outlook for the brilliant reads.
